LET'S PLAY BALL!!

Code of Conduct for Parents and Spectators.

As a parent or guardian of a player participating in our league, you play a crucial role in shaping the experience and atmosphere. We believe that positive parental involvement is essential for creating a supportive and enjoyable environment for all players, coaches, officials, and spectators.

Our Parent and Guardian Code of Conduct outlines the expectations and responsibilities that accompany your role as a supporter of youth baseball. By adhering to these guidelines, you can help promote sportsmanship, respect, and enjoyment for everyone involved in our league.

Together, let's work to uphold the values of fairness, integrity, and camaraderie that define our baseball community.

1. I understand that as a parent or guardian I am fully responsible for my behavior. I understand that I am the example for not just my child but any and all children in attendance. I will do my best to control my behavior at the park at all times. Parents and spectators shall not verbally abuse, threaten, or engage in physical contact with any player, manager, coach, umpire, league official, parent, or other individual under any circumstances. FBA board members, my team manager, game officials, city staff and or local law enforcement have authority to address any inappropriate behavior.

 2. The Board of Directors shall have the authority, either verbally or in writing, to immediately warn, suspend, dismiss or otherwise discipline any member, manager, coach, player, league official, umpire or other person whose conduct is considered detrimental to the best interest of the League.

3.  If a player is ejected from a game they must remain in the dugout the remainder of the game. They may not leave. Under the rules of baseball, an ejected  manager or coach must leave the dugout area - that includes the runway leading to the dugout - in a timely manner. If it is the manager that is ejected, he must designate to the umpire before his departure who is taking control of the team in his stead. Any manager or coach that continues verbally after his ejection may be remanded to to parking lot by umpire or any league official. All ejected persons must also sit out the next game.
